View challenge: C-0110-0103 - Domino helper a device which allows a player to set up dominos faster for a toppling game.
We are looking for device design, which should allow a player to set up the dominos faster than any other traditional method of setting them up possible today.

We are NOT after a device which puts up one (or more) domino piece(s) at a time and moves forward (see exclusion section below), rather we are after a non-electronic (read not using battery) mechanism in which many dominions can be tossed in a container, which in turn does something (that something is what we are after). When the user points the container above the target area, the device allows the user to release the dominions at the right distances and all in standing position at the same time.

Assume a domino used is synthetic material and is either solid or hollow with max height when standing as 2 inches.

User should be able to put up to 4 feet long standing queue of dominos in one go.

The usage of this device is not for expert domino player who sets it up for toppling, but is intended for general
use by children in the age group of 5-15

Total weight of the device (excluding the dominos) should not be more than 250 grams.

The raw material used and process of manufacturing should be favourable to produce the device in bulk quantity.

The time required to operate one round of setting up dominos should be < 20 seconds for age>=10 years. This time includes all the time required to set it up, including but not limited to a) Any preparation required to start the same b) Internal or user actions c) Actual putting up of dominos.

The device design should allow the user to create interesting patterns, including but not limited to circles, trees where one row becomes two and two becomes four, curves. Also allow predefined shapes, which could connect to each other to make a longer domino queue. Patterns and shapes could be created by using the device multiple times (in other words, the device does not need to release the pattern or design in one go)

Player should be able to repeat the whole process for any number of times, which means that once the dominos fall, it should be easy to set them again.

Some players might want to create patterns/pictures using the dominos; the device design should assist and not obstruct the same.

Solver should submit the technical design for the device with details.
